I am wondering if my SAPPHIRE Vapor-X 100351-6GVXSR Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition 6GB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card will work by itself. I am new to computer building and I don't know what "support card" means.

I think you are confusing the description. "CrossfireX support" is just a feature it's not a "support card," there is no such thing. A graphics card is a graphics card.

OK. Thanks, I just didn't understand that, I though there could be a support GPU that requires another one
