99% of that means absolutely nothing, it is a worthless wall of text. A screenshot of CPU-Z and HW Monitor would tell you more because you wouldn't lose the important bits in the useless numbers.


Your PSU is also poorly documented with no load table to be found anywhere. On the side of your PSU you will find a sticker with a table on it, you will see either a single column labeled +12V or a couple columns labeled +12V1, +12V2, +12V3..., the numbers below those are the important ones, they are the current ratings for each rail, post those here. Not all PSUs are made equal, a cheap 950 W won't be able to do 950 W for long periods of time.

I can get the details of that in about 4 hours, in the meantime, the questions I have are mainly recommends on how to get the best out of my systems based on how it is configged/running currently.

Although Download Center has options for Windows 7 x32 and x64, I doubt it would actually be much good for this motherboard that seems to infer its Vista preferable or XP as a media center, that's not gaming, only photos, music and movies.

I don't understand what you're saying re the mobo. what download options are you on about, or are you saying that the mobo isn't up to running anything more than vista? in which case, anything we can do to get the component on it running any better?

Dimm 1 & 2 are the same but Dimm 3 is different as is Dimm 4, in the manufacturer type. Although they all are of the same voltage, 1.8v, the last two have slightly different timings that may impact on the system and may, at times especially during higher or upper momery usage, shout BSoD's or memory management problems.

There is something above the cd/dvd pdrive, it l;ooks like a 15 in 1 SD memory card drive. and it looks like you also got the floppy drive connected as well, not sure that you';d ever need to use any of them, youmight want to consider disconnecting the cables from the motherboard, you can leave them in the PC just in case there ever is a furture need for them, though.

Those two video cards, why does the second one look so different from the first one?

Is that a fan controller fitted to the third PCI slot thingy?

same cards - 2 different makes, 1 is powercolor, 1 is sapphire, but they are the same

3rd pci thing is a disconnected blue neon tube. just. don't. ask.

so I can't do much about the ram, or motherboard then?

can I do anything with the cpu or the graphics cards, is there scope to do so based on what the cpu-z says?

Although the video cards might be the same chipset manufacturer, the video cards themselves are provided by two different distributors. Usually this does not or should not matter however, some distributors tweak their own version of the video card to settings that may differ to that of a different distributor.

The Sapphire is 750mhz Core Clock and the PowerColor is 770 mhz
Those stats are for the same video card and not for each of them.

Even so, whatever, you can't have mixed distributors in crossfire (or Si) without an issue of sorts occuring, the header of each video card ID would be differing.

The first video card is way too close to the seconds card, I'd say that the fan would be impeded quite alot and may cause temp issues.

You've missed the point, you can't have mixed sub-sdistributors branded video cards, the core clock is different iin each of them.
They are way too close to each other, heat would most likely affect one or the other.
The rfan speed on one of them is not even registering.

Remove one of the video cards (the second one) and then see if the issue occurs.

You also got mixed ram modules, your issues are not with the hardware, it's with the user.
