Well i saw there was a question like that before... i bought a bunch of new pc parts... asus Z87 deluxe , corsair dominator platinum 1333 Mhz, intel i7 4770k, 2 gainward GTX 770 Phantom edition. ..and to power that beast up i got me a xfx Pro 1250W power supply... now i tried to put the parts together and guess what... nothing worked... i took all Sata devices including the HHDs off the PSU and I came at least in the Bios... but not further... additional to that problem the PC doesnt recognizes my boot device wich is a ssd 3gb/s by intel... im kinda frustrated right now... someone's gotta clue???

More about : wont power

Remove the GPUs and try only with CPU, SSD and RAM installed. Make you sure that your SSD in on AHCI mode in BIOS (if you can configure it). If that doesn't work, test each RAM module in the rig, if is still not working try with a borrow PSU.

Hey thanx for the quick response. ..the ram works fine...all four ram sticks get displayed in the bios...the GPUs ain't installed... i tried to connect the HHDs one by one and the PC boots at least until the bios...but as soon as i connect more SATA devices it won't start at all... and why does the motherboard not recognize my ssd ? Might it be because the on board SATA slot supports 6GB/s and the SSD only 3GB/s ??? I seriously don't know what the cause of that problem... any suggestions are more than welcome

Well, the SDD problem can be for the things that you say. After check the specs of that mobo only says that support SATA III and not SATA II, that could be a problem BUT, your other devices/HDD are to SATA II?

If I understood right, you rig works (until BIOS) with only one HDD connected. The next test that you can do is test all your SATA devices in another rig that have SATA II ports.
