This is my first time building a PC and i posted on reddit for some feedback. I also wanted to post here and get as much feedback as possible to prevent any errors. Here are a few questions i had-
*Whats the best article that breaks down the tools and supplies ill need? ie screws and such.
*What are your thoughts on my build? Does everything look compatible and am i missing any pieces of equipment?
*Im worried about windows 8 being compatible with games and software though. Any thoughts?

UPDATE- i ended up with this as my final build and just started ordering my parts. EXCITED! http://pcpartpicker.com/p/18m6M

There is no need for such an expensive cpu cooler unless you are trying for extreme overclocks .
For everyone else a Xigmatek GAIA , or CM Hyper 212 are fine

The RAM you have chosen is poor quality CAS 10 . LOWER timings are better

The samsung 840 PRO is a better choice

That was all feedback from different people. there isnt much gap between the pro version but the price is a good knockdown.

The liquid cooled cpu part was an idea from someone else. I will be running this beast hard so i want to make sure it stays cool. if you have a cheaper but effective alternative im all ears.

I dont really know what you mean by the RAM. like i said its my first time.

im trying to stay near 2k

Im at my threshold right now. the monitor and case arent changing as those are aesthetic preferences. Ive thought about the psu. Currently i have an estimated 200W to work with. the current GFX card uses about 70. adding another card in the future shouldnt be an issue.

edit- i actually just added it since the price was pretty close. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/17U91
