Its becoming apparent that my BIOS wont let me set my SSD as my boot drive for some reason. So, lets say i put BF3 on it alone, will it make that specific game any faster?

Yes, loading times and saves will be fast. (Especially with an SSD without an OS on it, the more storage, the slower it will become)

SSDs will only improve load times for games. They will do nothing to improve your ingame FPS.
