PC shuts down and restarts just before login screen

Just upgraded pretty much all my parts to:

Gtx660oc
Amd fx6300
Gigabyte 990fx-ud3

And I'm not 150% sure if everything is plugged In correctly, but it recognizes the CPU and the fan spins (stops once or twice during bootup) but before I get to see the login screen the computer just restarts! Is it possibly my power supply? It's a 500w coolermaster and ive heard they aren't that good but surely it wouldn't stop it from turning on??? Any ideas

Seriously? Do I need a new copy..? Can't do that right now anyway cause my cd drive isn't plugged in, differerent connectors or some crap

Of course you have to reinstall Windows. Windows tailors its self to hardware as it's installed. Chipset drivers, USB drivers, Windows does not know how to deal with the new hardware. The only way you can get by is if you replace a motherboard with a very similar model and even then you can have problems.

yeah... windows simply can't deal with a major hardware shift like a new mb or cpu. See if you can't find someone with an exterior dvd drive (lord knows i've got 2 of them)... you can install from one of those.

Boot into the bios screen. Check your CPU temps there and see if the pc will stay up. If it stays up and the temps are fine. Use f8 safe mode go into windows and remove all the old mb drivers and drivers in windows system and then see if the system will boot into windows. If it shuts down going into windows. Check that the four or eight pin pci power plug for the CPU and video card is connected.

OOO! Microsoft USB to iso tool isn't something I have to install right? Cause that's not going to happen, can't even figure out how to get into safe mode yet

you won't be able to get into safe mode. you'll need to fresh install windows

If you have a valid retail copy of Windows that you bought then you should be able to reuse it. An OEM copy is tied to the first motherboard it is installed on although you may get away with activating it with the new hardware via the phone activation.
