I just upgraded my AMD FX-6200 Processor, to a FX-8350 including the stock heatsink/fan. I have noticed the fan is extremely loud, much louder than the FX-6200. Being the same processor and almost same heatsink, is it possible to replace the heatsink with the old one, without doing damage to the CPU heatwise in the longrun.
The other issue that is causing the noise is the new 650W Thermaltake Litepower PSU, however I know the most noise is from the CPU fan.
