friends tell me Gigabyte PoweRock Power Supply, 80Plus Certified, True 550W 550 Watt

Is good to use or not ?

How would we know?

The PSU itself is probably fine.

But how can we say if it's fine for your system too?

That GIGABYTE PoweRock PSU is made by CWT (Channel Well Technology) based on Channel Well's low end DSA series platform just like some of Corsair's old CX models.

It should work fine for your system configuration.

GIGABYTE's PSUs are all budget entry level products.

They haven't earned the reputation for being good or bad so I can't really say.
