I have Dual 6990s in my system and have recently been messing with fans and i want to know if I should look into setting a fan curve or something or if i should just leave it at one speed like ive been running Graphics card 1 fan at 65% and the other one at 60% and the second card is like 48C and the first one goes from 70-75C but does lowering graphics cards temperatures make the card run faster and or better or what does it do? Also is leaving it at 65% good? It seems stable at that like its pretty much 70-77C Please help

70-77c seems a bit hot for the top card(guessing its location based on temps.) however this is a normal issue with running sli/crossfire. the cooler your card is the more optimal performance you get out of it. to much heat and it can begin to slow down and possibly cause damage if not kept in check. im guessing stock cooling on both cards aswell? fan curves have never been a bad thing actually quite handy when you dont feel like keepin an eye on temps non stop. if its not to loud maybe kick the fan up a little more try to get it down around the mid 60's if you could. that is if its not blazing loud with the fan up higher.
