TrY A free software recovery from makers of ccleaner. Called recovia (sp??.)
If the recovery software does not see your data the drive or data card inside may have failed. As a last resort you can pull the drive and try to connect the drive to your pc to pull the data off.

It's Recuva, and should work well.
Another free software that is very powerfull and can help with partition issues is Testdisk.
