All i've had with this computer is problems, its rare I enjoy using technology right now. Anyway, my PSU (seasonic X-series 1050w 80+ plus gold ) is buzzing, it is most definitely the PSU and it is definitely buzzing; it sounds like an electrical buzz of a sort. I can tell that its coming from the back next to the ac plug in, and tested on its own just the psu and socket to the wall; with 24 pin cable to jump it, slight buzz. Back in the pc tested without everything except the cpu, 24 pin and graphics card cables, ( im aware it may buzz moderately since its 1050w but the noise is still present. I looked at my gpu clock and usage etc, the sound doesnt seem to correlate to it, what ive noticed the ram seems to correlate most; by the led's flashing faster with more usage, this correlates somewhat. I must note when loading webpages etc the buzz get louder for a brief moment, on and off. It seems like its gpu related to me, as if the noise is when more power is sucked out of the psu. Any ways to solve this issue its bloody annoying.

If your rig does not require the full use of the PSU output then having too many watts over and above the required level will cause issues similar to this one. If you have a utility to adjust the fan of the cpu, it may be causing this issue.

If there is dust present or pet hair or something that is floating around in the air (like Talcum powder) that can get caught up in the PSU, then that, too can cause the noise to occur.

A buzzing noise, if it's more like a kkkkking noise could infer capaictor overload, check the motherboard capaitors for bulging or leakage.
If the noise is more like a playing card in the spokes of a bicycle wheel then check that no loose cabling is caught up in any fans.

If you have a rig set up that is requiring more power than what the psu can handle then that, too might cause the issue.

What are the specs to the rest of the PC?

Could you try the rig with a different PSU?

the area is clean and no cables are loose or caught, the fan isnt making the noise i can tell its coming from the one side of the PSU. My GPU makes a noise when its rendering alot of frames e.g. exceeding 200fps makes a buzzing sound, if you've heard that, that is what my PSU sort of sounds like, its not clicking or whining its buzzing, and yes it is definitly the PSU ive took it out of my case, i know 100% the psu is emitting this sound. Im not using more than it can handle, also i looked into having more watts than you need, that doesnt really make sense to me, it only draws what it needs, its not forcing the maximum capacity through to the components. I did put some new RAM in im going to swap for my old ones and see what happens.
