Hi am rushi

My question is am using a PC having

4GB DDR3
320GB HDD
1GB ATI 4350 HD
dual core 2.2 Ghz

I used this PC with windows 7 and had to reinstall win 7 due to some reasons after the fresh copy,am constantly getting BSOD with stop code 0X00000116 atikmpag.sys or simply atikmpag.sys especially when high end games are loaded.

The error also sometimes states that display driver amd has stopped working and has been recovered successfully.

This is happening only in windows 7 not in windows xp sp2 or sp3

May i know why windows 7 is experiencing this, but not xp sp2 or sp3?

I can edit Hardware acceleration in xp but not in win 7.

Any help is regarded please

Based upon the error messages you are receiving, it appears that your graphics drivers have been corrupted. Boot your system up into Safe Mode, Uninstall the drivers, reboot, go back into Safe Mode, download and install the most current ATI graphics drivers for your particular card. Reboot your PC and go back into regular Windows mode and all should now work with no errors.

Ya i have tried many methods on windows 7 and so far the latest drivers even worked on xp sp2 but not in win 7

Most modern games require windows 7 ... so any other suggestion

And not quoted this

for vga connected to my ATI it says
display driver amd has stopped working and has been recovered successfully

If i remove vga and unplug my ATI and plug my vga to onboard VGA it says
display driver intel has stopped working and has been recovered successfully
