GTX 770 vs GTX 780 , I5 3570k vs I5 4670k . Please help

Solution
The GTX780 adds a little future-proofing, though it's unlikely that even the GTX780 will be maxing the most demanding games of 2016. The GTX770 is massively better value interms of the performance you're getting for your money.
The GTX780 is a brilliant card, but it's not worth so much more money than the GTX770. As for the processors, pricing is much closer. Where are you? In Britain, the 4670K is a bit pricier but probably worth the extra. You're looking at an average gain of 7% in non-game applications and typically less than that in CPU-intensive games (GPU-intensive games of course will show no difference at all).

Hi, I recently paired a GTX 780 with the i5 4670K for beast gaming and I play games like far cry 3, crysis 3, bf3, batman arkam city, tomb raider, etc.. and the 780 eats everything I throw at it. I'm also using the 3D vision 2 kit on a 144Hz monitor and I'm loving it. I have the 4670K overclocked to 4.4GHZ right now and I can play BF3 on ultra and 3D at around 80-120 FPS and crysis 3 maxed out too with 3D around 60-70 FPS.

Short story: you won't be disappointed ;-)

Hello. I'm just prepared to buy new system and i'm between Intel 3570k (207 euro, 7115 Score at PassMark) and 1150 intel 4570 (183 Euro, 7060 Score at PassMark)

I intend to overclock if i buy the first cpu but i don't intend to buy new heatsink, cooler etc.

I'm thinking that maybe it's not worth it to buy more expensive cpu if i won't be able to overclock it with its own Cooler.
Please advice me witch is better choise

for OC'ing you MUST have a Cooler or your not gonna go too far with OC'ing the CPU

You're right, but i don't want to go very far. If it overclock till 4Ghz i'll be happy. It's better to give 80 euro for a better CPU like i7 than to buy cooler that will push your CPU to the same speed or even below.

You can get a really good air cooler for about £30 so about €70 euro so I would suggest getting a cheap one it will still perform better that a stock cooler
