I am a graphics card newbie and need help in picking out a newer video card.
My computer,
cpu Intel Core i5 3570 Ivy Bridge 22nm
motherboard Gigabyte Z77M-D3H-MVP

memory Kensington 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600
present monitor Benq GL2030 20" TN DVI-D 16:9 1600x900
present video card MSI Nvidia Geforce 9400 GT 512MB 65nm bus width 128 bits
I plan to upgrade Kensington memory from 8GB to 16GB (2x8GB) modules
Also plan to upgrade my monitor to a Benq 24 inch 1920x1080 GW2450HM DVI-D
What would be a nice gentle upgrade from my 2009 GeForce 9400GT in my plan? I would like to have more than 512MB. I want to stay with Nvidia cards. (I don't play games) just pictures and movies.
