My hd 7770 doesn't produce a display. I am not sure if this could be because of the vga to dvi adapter not working or if it is just a faulty graphics card. The monitor and the vga cable are working fine the onboard graphics card, but the adapter won't fit into the onboard dvi port.

Make sure you have the cable connected to your graphics card and not your motherboards onboard adapter. If thats not the case, go into bios and change your video configuration from onboard to pci express x16. Also, which PSU are you using?

I think I forgot to say that the graphics card was working fine for a little over 2 months, but recently the screen froze and when I tried restarting the computer there was no display. Also I don't see that option in my bios my mobo is an asus p8z77 v lx, and I am using a corsair cx 600.
