Hi Guys

Had my Phenom II B55 X4 OC'ed @ 3.7Ghz now 24/7 since 2009. For the last year or so it crashes spontaneously (no consistent trigger as far as I can tell, prime95 stable 24h) once or twice a month. On reboot the overclocking fails due to undervolting, suddenly the BIOS is set at 1.32V instead of 1.42V. It make sense that this is probably causing the crash, but I wonder what is causing the undervolt? Cool 'n'Quiet is switched permanently off and everything is set to manual in BIOS. I suspect it may be a fault with the BIOS as ever since I have owned the ASUS MOBO it occasionally "locks-up" or "hangs" in BIOS if I spend to much time changing settings, forcing me to reboot. Again, there does not appear to be a consistent trigger in terms of settings changed, just the amount of time I am in BIOS. However, while this BIOS issue has existed since I purchased the system, the crashes only started about a year ago. Any help is much appreciated, Thanks!

Something in the range of 1.325v is the default Deneb voltage ... and I suspect your Asus mobo/BIOS is simply defaulting to the default when it resets.

I would suggest checking your PSU for 'ripple' using OCCT (make sure you select the 'charts' under options). I had an issue getting consistent clean power from 'Earthwatts' when OC'ing with one unit.
