Hello people ,
i have assembled a new PC with following specs :

1)Athlon X2 270
2)Asus M4A88T-M
3)Sapphire 5870 1Gb
4)G.Skill 6GB DDR3 PC3-12800 (1600MHz) CL9-9-9-24 Triple Channel kit
5)Gigabyte Superb E620
6) LG lightscribe DVD writer

i Installed windows 8 and tried windows 7 too , but after installing few drivers it used to BSODs and some unknown errors i.e Memory Management, System Exception etc etc.
i Dunno what might be the root cause of it , as much i remember Mobo supports the Ram as i saw in QVL List before buying and it works fine too..
can anyone throw some light on this matter , sorry if i posted at the wrong place as its my first post!

DRAM needs to be set up correctly, the 270 needs extra voltage and prob timing adjustments to try and run 1600 sticks, also with three sticks setup will be a bit harder, see you mentioned 'tri-channel' which the AMD's can't run, with three sticks you'll be running single channel, dropping to two stick will enable dual channel...what's the model number of the set and we can prob get them running

No problem, let's try the sticks in slots 1-2-3, set initially to 1333, base timings at 9-9-9-24, CR (Command rate or Command timing) to 2n or 2T (may be at 1 T or N), DRAM voltage 1.55, CPU/NB voltage 1.3 and give that a try, we'll try to get them running stable and then try OCing to get them to 1600

i was able to find the DRAM voltage it was set to auto and there is no option as CPU/NB voltage but there is one as VDDNB Over Voltage .. will changing that help ?

Can you do an ALT-TAB , does anything happen. Does it show as an Icon on the bottom of the desktop, i.e. opening in a minimized state. Have you tried a higher or lower screen resolution to see if it's off the side of your screen. Might also try a reboot if you haven't already

no ALT-TAB is not helping and it doesnt show an Icon either , yeah i restarted my system twice after facing the minimising issue , but as u had mentioned before AMD Proccessors doesnt support Tri Channel Memory but in The Mobo QVL the RAM is mentioned , so should i remove 2 Gb Ram and use the system with 4 Gb, as 4GB will be running in Dual Channel and 2 GB in single Channel ??

this is the link for the RAM www.gskill.com/products.php?index=110‎

unless the board has to have 1.65v memory which I've ran across before..............

Windows has built in Memory diagnostics programs go to start, type MDSCHED in the search box, then hit enter, select Restart now and check for problems....if any come up, would then narrow it down , doing same on a stick by stick basis....Same with Memtest, a stick at a time, but prob only 4-5 passes
