3 pin fans / 4 pin connectors HELP!

Hey guys. I recently setup my com. Im running on an asus rampage board with a nzxt 820 housing. The pins for the fan on the nzxt is 3 and the pins on the board are 4..both male..really could do with some help

Just connect the fans and be done with it. Pin count is irrelevant. It just means that your fans won't hame pwm.

rmpumper....i understand that it doesn't matter if its 3 or 4 pins...what i meant was that the fan has 3male pins and the board has 4 male pins as well..do i need and adapter?

Plug the case fan into a power supply cable fan connector if it has one or can get a molex to fan adapter, did the case come with a 3 inch or so adapter?

nope..didn't come with an adapter.my first build after 7 years..was stumped when i saw both connectors were male
