Alright, so I made a new gaming desktop yesterday, built it all and everything works fine.

I have the ethernet cable pluged in and it doesnt seem to work.
The cable works 100% because It's working on this laptop right now.

I go to device manager and it says no drivers installed, I click install drivers from internet, but since I have no internet, it can't get it through that.

I don't know how to find the model of my ethernet controller or anything like that so just tell me how and I'll reply with it.

My motherboard is msi z87 gd65 gaming.

Have you installed the chipset drivers or just the LAN drivers? and did you check for a new BIOS?

The MOBO should come with a disc that has at least basic drivers on it, otherwise just go to your MOBO page and download the appropriate driver, throw it on a USB, and install on your desktop.
