I just got a new Galaxy GTX 780 and my framerates in games are much lower than expected at 5760x1080 and even 1920x1080. I've only tried Crysis 3 campaign, Battlefield 3 campaign, Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer, and Chivalry multiplayer. In Crysis 3, I get a steady ~18fps on lowest setting at 5760x1080 and 25-30fps on lowest setting at 1920x1080. Battlefield 3, about the same frame rates at corresponding resolutions. In MW3, I get about 25-30fps on low setting at 5750x1080, and about 50fps at 1920x1080. Call of Duty is weird because frames drop down under 20 as soon as an enemy is in sight, even though my connection is pretty good. In Chivalry, I get 18fps on lowest setting across 3 monitors, and about 30fps on just one. My nvidia geforce driver is up to date(320.18). My surround is setup properly. None of my components should really bottleneck, especially not this badly. I don't know if it really matters, but Windows Experience Index rates the graphics card at at a 7.2. This card is running games at 1920x1080 worse than my previous 560 ti. BTW, I ran the origin games off the ssd and the other two off the hdd.

My specs:
GPU: you know it
CPU: FX 8350 4.0Ghz
MB: AsRock 970 Pro3 AM3+
RAM: G. Skill Ripjaw X Series 8GB 1333Mhz
PSU: XFX Core Edition Pro850w 80+ Bronze
SSD: ADATA 128GB SATA3
HDD: WD 2.5" Blue 1tb 5400rpm SATA2
Case: In Win Mana 134 atx mid tower
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

Solution
The current driver is absolutely horrible, so wait for the next revision before you do something too drastic like an RMA. Is the framerate always that bad, or does the screen black out and return with a poor framerate?

Another thing to try is to download MSI Afterburner and check that the card is clocking itself up properly, if it is staying at 324Mhz (its 2D clock) you have identified the problem. It should be around 900Mhz.

This is the problem every time I've seen this happen.

Ok, I just got msi afterburner and launched bf3 at 1920x1080 in windowed mode. It keeps same frame rate. After burner says that min and max speed for both memory clock and core clock are 324MHz. How do I fix this?
