ok guys i built a new system and it currently has windows 7 ultimate 32 bit on it an when i try to install windows 7 ultimate 64 bit it gives me this error The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check you computer system infromation to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher. How can i get around this ?

You need to backup your data,boot from the windows 7 disk and do a clean custom reinstall, as you can't do an upgrade install when going from 32-bit to 64-bit.
