If many games are running slow then you should check the CPU usage while playing those games first. big chance is that your CPU is bottlenecking the 570.

Yes, your current CPU is very bad for BF3 MP, in which maps are very large and CPU-intensive. You should consider getting a Core2Quad for smoother FPS, or just save to get a new cpu+motherboard+RAM combo later on.
