Hi guys
So if I want something better than mobo RAID for desktop RAID 10(plan on putting my steam folder on it, plus media and data). I will run backups on essential data regularly so that's not an issue.
Based on my research, people say the IBM M1015 should suite my purpose well, it can be had for around $120 from eBay

should I go for it? or do you guys have better suggestions? my budget is fairly flexible but I don't want to spend unnecessarily for a home user application
