ASUS GTX 660 TI (DirectCU 2) or GIGABYTE Radeon HD 7950

Hey! I'm looking at these 2 specific GPU's: Asus GTX 660 Ti or Gigabyte Radeon HD 7950. My new monitor will be running at 1920x1080 with a possible 2nd screen which runs at 1440x900. Games will go on the bigger screen. These cards both have a higher base clock and boost clock than the reference cards. I would like to find out which would be the better of the 2, or if there is a more powerful card for the same price. The Gigabyte one comes with a few games, not so sure about the ASUS one. Maybe Canada Computers doesn't offer games with it.

I've posted stuff before, but this time it's a battle between specific cards.

Thanks for the help :)

  1. I would personally go with the 7950 from Gigabyte. Better reference card, I like the Gigabyte's coolers, 4 free games instead of one... all this for pretty comparable pricing (the 660ti being perhaps slightly cheaper).

I guess the big wildcard is what the 760 will be priced at if it does indeed come out next week or so.
  2. I would wait for the 760 to be released, it will more then likely be stronger then the 7950, otherwise I dont know why nvidea would even bother releasing it.
