Witcher 2 Performance Problems?

I seem to being having some performance problems with the Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition and was wondering if it was normal for my CPU and GPU.

I have a Lenovo ThinkPad W530 laptop
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3720QM CPU @ 2.60GHz
NVIDIA Quadro K1000M Graphics with 2GB DDR3 Memory
1600x900 and 8GB RAM

Now I know laptops are not ideal for gaming but it seems that no matter what settings I put it on I still cannot get above the 20-25 FPS mark unless I'm in small areas. I use Game Booster and ThrottleShop and have even tried lowering the resolution to 800x600 on low settings and can barely get over 30 FPS. Is that normal or is something wrong?

Solution
Yeah, that's about right, Witcher 2 is an extremely demanding game when it comes to graphics. Most laptop GPUs simply won't do well in that game, particularly if its a lower end workstation card that isn't optimized for gaming.

I thought that might be the case since its not a high performance card but shouldn't lowering the resolution that much make a big difference? I could be overestimating

Huh, didnt know they made mobile Quadro cards.
Thats a workstation class card, basically its optimized to crunch code and render 3D models, not game on. Its basically a tractor to your gaming GPU's sports car, will haul a ton more but isnt fast enough to game on.
