only 3 core are activated

first time it show on boot 4 core are activated and after it said 3core are activated,i have amd phenom 2 x4 955 preocesser

Does it say that in BIOS/UEFI? or in a program such as CPU-Z?

Did u have a tri core or another cpu installed before the installation of ur x4 955? If so the other cpu settings including core count may have stayed in the bios and deactivating one core. If not then maybe the bios did it for some odd reason just go into acc or ncc and turn it on to manual and all core enabled or active.

Just had to previous cpu install happen from a dual core to a phenom II x4 945, even a bios default refresh didnt fix it for me

had the same problem with my other pc I just cleared the bios by moving jumper and problem solved.
