Hey everyone, had trouble finding a place too put this thread..hope here's fine.

Was using: Razer Naga Molten Edition;
Now Using: Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000;

The problem occurred with both mice. Razer Naga is wired, while this Microsoft mouse is obvious wireless.

In and Out of ANY program or even just sitting on desktop, my right click function does not always work. It takes several clicks of the right button too function for links on web browsers or even right clicking on the desktop.

Ive read some people mentioning mouse sensitivity being set too high, causing high latency and disconnecting the mouse? Ive never had this problem until two or three weeks ago with the Naga(which i then switched too the wireless in hopes of solution).

My computer runs 8gb of Ram with a Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q9550 @2.83GHz.

Does this sound familiar too anyone? Maybe there is a solution? Or a program that will allow higher sensitivity without the mouse latency and disconnection?

Thanks for the help and your time! Im on standby watching this post!

Did you uninstall the software and drivers for the Naga? Did you install the drivers for the microsoft wireless mouse?
What usb port are you using? USB2 or 3? It could be that your mouse is plugged into a usb 1.1 port which would account for it being so unresponsive.

What is your PSU? It needs to be at least 430 watt, the 5v rail needs a decent amount of amps to provide for the usb ports.

Don't have external devices ther than what is required at the time you use them like iphone, pen tablet, TV usb adapter etc...

My motherboard: http://www.supermicro.com/products/motherboard/Core/G33/C2SBA.cfm
My PSU is a 650Watt.

It appears the usb slots are 2.0.
I have no idea what these mice require, as far as i can research right now, they just plainly ask for "USB Slot".
I Have a Apple Iphone charger plugged in the front USB slot of my computer at all times, Turtle Beach X12 USB/Pink+Green also plugged in at all times, aswell as a USB HP Keyboard.

Yes all software was properly installed at the time each mouse was connected.

Remove the Apple Iphone charger, you don't need it plugged in and it is occupying a usb port that would then revert an other usb port to a lower reviosion being 1.1 possibly. You are only allowed a certain amount of USB 2.0 ports, usually about 4 then when thwey are occupied the remainder revert to 1.1 revision and only about 2 odf them and whatever is left over is disabled. It really depends ofn the manufacturer spread of resources (controllers) for the usb ports.

Head set, it says it's compatible to Xbox 360 but not to PC even though you do have it working so it might be using generic audio drivers unless you got a cd install disk with it for PC use.

Alrighty, ive unplugged the apple charger, and will leave it out for a few days too test, as far as the headset, i do see it says Compatible with PC Xbox360. But as far as i can see, there is No drivers, which sounds odd.

Most if not all usb headphones use the generic driver provided by Windows 7, I think even Vista has it but Windows XP would require a driver of some sort. If you are not using the headset all of the time, you might want to remove them from the usb port.

edit -
By removing those devices, it frees up power allocation on the 5v rail that is required by the mouse. A PSU with a better 5v rail amp would not make any difference as one would expect, the motherboard only supports so many usb ports to be used at any one time so its the quantity of ports in use that determines the amount of power available for those ports in use.

I too, have this problem right now. I've had it with my last Microsoft 4000 mobile mouse and the problems are now recurring with the second one. I think the right mouse button has simply broken from overusage. I notice you used to own a Razer mouse, so I presume you used both your mice for gaming and maybe overused the right mouse button in the proces? Thats how I think I broke the mice at least...
