Printing email attachments without opening them?

Hi W7 expert!
Is there any way to print attachments to emails (any word, excel, adobe, pictures) without opening them?

In the print options it has a tick box "Print attached files" but even when it is checked the "open/Save attachment" box comes up and the attachment does not print.

It sounds as though you may have attempted the steps listed in those two links.
What email program are you using?

Thanks we are on W7 - office 10. I have almost figured it out now. In "print options" I have ticked the box "print attachements" and some documents (PDF & word) will quick print but Excel & TIF still have that "open/save" option box pop up.

I have worked out that when you press "open" it does pop up with a quicker picture viewer and "print" option and then does close itself like the normal quick print.

I have been harassing everyone and no one knows the answer why it wont work with all the programs?
