What on Earth are the differences between these monitors?

The 27EN43V costs $229 after discount and the EB2742V-BN costs $219 after discount. They have the same features don't they? What is the difference? I think one might be newer (no reviews yet), but is that the only difference?

Also, I don't understand this same size IPS monitor is only $239, around the same price? Isn't IPS way better? How can this be?

Probably old version and new version, newer release are usually more expensive then their old counterparts.
