Is this compatible and what card to max Guild Wars 2?

My build:
i5 3570k
Asrock z77 Pro 4 (CPU + mb combo is cheaper than 4th gen here)
Corsair TX650 PSU
2 x 4GB Corsair Ram 1600 MHz
1 TB HDD
1 ASUS DVD Drive
Cooler Master HAF 912 Combat Cabinet

I would like to know if all the components compatible and what GPU I should buy to max Guild Wars 2 at 1080p and maybe Skyrim too. I don't plan to overclock anything and I was thinking of getting the amd 7870. Will that do or should I buy the 7970?

EDIT: Should I be looking at Nvidia cards because after searching a bit, I found that 7870 has problems running GW2

What kind of fps are you looking for? I have the 3570k and gtx 670 and can max out gw2 (except I turned off supersampling and left it at normal) usually 45-100+ fps. It really depends on where you are. I only turned off supersampling because it hardly makes a difference and has a huge performance hit when on. World bosses will, as I'm sure you're aware, give you huge lag that can't be avoided. We're talking 20-25fps for dragons.

A 7970 will do even better and will handle GW2 no problem. Skyrim can be maxed as well.
