Can anyone explain to me why the new MSI motherboard (MSI MPower MAX) has 64gb ram support when the new haswell processors only support 32gb?

What am I missing here? Does the motherboard have the ability to see and support additional ram not available to the cpu? All of this is controlled by the included unlimited RAMDISK software or can any ramdisk software be used?

Solution
My guess is that Intel don't specify 64GB, because it's almost impossible to find 16GB sticks. MSI are being slightly misleading here, because although in theory it would work, you can't do it yet.

Kind of like saying it supports HDDs up to 4PB, yet they simply don't exist.
