I just got a new build, most of it was put together professionally as I didn't have time. I installed my own Hard Drive and turned it on. I know the build is getting to BIOS as the keyboard responds to CTRL ALT DEL reset.

However, I am not getting a display using the integrated graphics connection. Although I have tested the monitor and the monitor does detect that it is connected to the PC. Thoughts?

Then it might be a PC to monitor connection issue. What ports using, DVI to DVI, HDMI?
Try the VGA connec tion if possible.

I am using the VGA connection. The monitor doesn't register activity once the system is turned on.

Can you borrow a different cable for testing?
Try also clearing the CMOS. Did the guys that assembled the system test it?

Yeah, I have all of their benchmarking data so the components do work. I just put in a different cable, same result.

Does everything stay lit up or does it turn off after a few seconds?

If it says on - Reconnect all the cables inside and try again. Then Google it.

If it goes off - Something's died.

Transporting the PC with the heatsink installed might create issues.
I suggest taking the system back together with the monitor and let them testing.
I guess the warranty is still available.

Okay I think there is a dead component. There is a single red flash on the motherboard near the CPU, but then the CPU fans and what have you turn on and continue to spin. Does this mean the CPU is dead?

Could be GPU? Red flash near CPU should be a loading thingy. Could be a warning.

You could try reseating the CPU and the CPU fan but it's better letting those guys doing it. When transporting it back, put it on the back seat, on its side (CPU heatsink vertically), not in the trunk.
