Does the 3gb vram vs 2gb vram make a difference?

Not unless you're going to be using multiple monitors.

2GB of RAM is more thank enough.
The questions you are asking are very basic, and most people that buy expensive cards like those should know the answers.
Before buying one of those cards, you have to make sure if your PSU can handle it and if your system will not bottle neck it.
What are your specs?

Anyone know, by any chance, when the 790 will make it's debut, and the specs?

it wont be out until most likely late this year since they are still releasing the lower class GPUs, also thats even if it comes out which i doubt it will, thats like putting two titans in one gpu and will only do that if they have to maintain bragging rights over amd

I'm not sure yet, building from scratch. I will be having 2 monitors though.

if 660ti then wait till 25 and get the gtx760 slightly better than 660Ti and at a much cheaper price.
for the 670,why not?are u susing more than one monitor?can ur psu handle it?and definitely the 2gb Vram would be useful especially while at higher resolutions.

If you spend $400.00 on a graphic card, get a decent CPU, at least i5 xxxxK. And get a GOOD POWER SUPPLY.
Are you planing to game with monitors? Or do you need 2 monitors for productivity and will play with only 1? Gaming in 2 monitors seams a little weird to me.
If you r are building from scratch and you are not sure what you are doing, I recommend you start a new thread and specify your budget and what you intend to do with your PC, so you can get advise for all the parts and not just for the vcard. You want a BALANCED PC, not just a good vcard. Trust me.
