I just need to know that what I am about to do is correct. First I insert the operating system disk into the laptop. I restart it, and have it boot off the disk. I go through the setup. I am aware that it will delete all the data off of the hard drive. Is the correct? The same would apply for a flash drive containing windows 7?
On a side note, if I used wintoflash to put windows 7 on a flash drive, could I also put other files such as pictures and music on the drive as well? Would that interfere with the operating system setup?
