After securing console control, going for AMD gpus in PC will be better option now?

I've heard friends saying that more and more games will work better with Radeon Graphic hardware & drivers in the months to come.

So going for amd gpu in PC is better option now?

Its more of a personal preference, they will perform the same in some cases and better in others, also some cards have features like the nvidia is going to be releasing a recording option soon
