My friend recently replaced the motherboard on his PC and now the monitor we are using wont recieve a signal.

So far we have tried:

Re seating the RAM, GPU, CPU.
Used DVI/VGA ports on both GPU and onboard GPU.
Doing the "unplug cable, hold power button for 30 seconds" thing.
Tried different RAM sticks, monitors and monitor cables.

The only other option we have is to try a different proccessor but i dont really want to do that yet without knowing if it will achieve anything.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, i'm totally out of ideas and dont know what to do next.

Thanks in advance, Ryan.

P.S i am unsure of whether this is the wrong section for this topic so feel free to move it if it is.

Unfortunately i can't, the PC originally belonged to someone else and was broken. The PC repair specialist he sent it to couldnt fix it so he bought a new one and gave this one to my friend. We replaced the motherboard to fix the original problem but now we have this one.

I will try to find out the specs from the original owner but i'm not sure if i'll be able to.

Is there any suggestion that will work without knowing specs?

Thanks for the fast reply.
