All they really need to do is unbundle the kinect.

The only real sub ps4 part is the GDDR3 RAM vs the GDDR5. Which I honestly don't think a gamer will ever see at the fixed resolution max the systems have. But it can make you feel warm and fuzzy I guess...

Only nitpicking (Sorry, mild OCD! :p) The Xbox One uses DDR3, not GDDR3. The PS4 however, as you say, uses GDDR5.

I wouldnt expect MS to 'beef up the hardware' at this stage. I would think it's too alte for that now. You need to remeber that both the PS4 and Xbox One have probably been in development for the last 8 years, maybe longer! Also, theres the marketing to think of, if MS announced ANOTHER change to thier console then people would start to get annoyed with them for changin thier mind. =) I think the most we can hope for is for MS to lower the price a little. I think if they lowered it to £399, it would sell far better, even though its not a big drop in price.

I also dont think they will release a kinectless version, as the general gist we are getting from MS at the minute is that the kinect is going to be a much more integral part of the Xbox One than it was with the 360. I could be wrong however...
