Hi, currently I'm powering a factory overclocked 8600gt (yeah, I know)
https://www.asus.com/Graphics_Cards/EN8600GT_TOPHTDP256...
- on a non-brand 300w psu, the rest of my rig is a G530 with 4 gigs of ram. I want to buy a new card and I have no hesitation it's going to be a 7750 because it's the fastest card that doesn't require a 6 pin connector and my monitor resolution is fairly small by today's standarts - 1280x1024. My question is whether the gigabyte factory oc-ed version will consume much more power than the sapphire one, or will it be manageable for my psu? Or do I even need the oc version as the cpu might bottleneck a bit, not sure about that one. I don't want answers such as "get a new psu", if anything you might have noticed everything's on a tight budget so that's not an option right now and answers like that would be of no help at all.

If it can power a 8600gt well then it can power a HD7750 well. End of discussion.
