i just bought a ASUS GTX 660 Direct CU II 2gb graphics card about 4 days ago, and its been running fine except last night while i was playing Far cry 3 it came up with a black screen and green squares/blocks then my computer went straight to the bois screen and restarted, today i've had it happen to me about 5-6 more times, all but one was farcry 3, and that was GTA IV.
games like battlefield 3 and metro last light are running fine?
my specs are:
AMD FX-8350 8 core CPU
Asrock 980DE3 motherboard
8gb corsair value ram
ASUS GTX 660 Direct CU II 2gb
Thermaltake Contac 30 cpu cooler
and a Antec 300 series case
also i have a corsair gs600 (600watt) powersupply
is it a driver problem or a hardware problem, and how do i fix it?
