Swap to Windows Xp or stay with 7

Ok so , i am running Windows 7 on a system
CPU Pentium 4 630 3.00GHz(notOC)
Graphics Card nvidia 1gb 210Gigabyte
Ram DDR3 2gb Corsair 1333MHz
MotherBoard P5-G41T-MLX
HDD 80gb :D little old :D
PSU 480W
My question is,is it good to change to windows xp ,for smaller ram reducing and better game performance ,or there isn't much difrences,between game performance and ram reducing ,when changing to XP .THANKS IN ADVANCE GUYS : )

Windows 7 is supposed to adapt to your hardware to some extent. Like in your case if you have older generation chips with limited RAM, it should adjust itself to use less resources, for instance maybe not activating Aero or stuff like that. 2 GB or RAM is acceptable for Windows 7 32-bit if you only browse the web and do small things, the system should be fast and responsive enough. Bottom line is, I don't think you'd gain a lot of speed by downgrading to XP.

The other problem is that XP is a very old OS and some newly released software aren't compatible. Also, and more importantly, Microsoft will officially drop support for Windows XP on April 1st 2014. So no more security updates and patches after this date, if you continue to use an XP computer after this date and go on the Internet, newly discovered OS security flaws will not be corrected and you'll be at risk.
