Need Help With Deciding Future MoBo

So, I'm currently shopping for parts for my new build. Right now I have hit the wall trying to decide a motherboard to go with my 4th gen Intel CPU.

I can get from NewEgg, with their nicely price combos, the following motherboards:

ASRock Extreme 6 with a 4770k for $430, nice looking and plentifully bundled accessories.

MSI G45 Gaming with a 4770k for $410, has cool looking dragon heatsinks, but lacks a lot of the features that the ASRock has. Also less accessories, and SATA ports.

I would opt for the GD65, but the bundle deal is not as nice with this one, so it's out of the question.

Which of the two should I get? I'm really looking at the ASRock but the MSI is just so much cooler, and the USB3 header is also nicely angled.

Help!

Gaming, some video rendering/editing. Mostly gaming. Another thing I just noticed about the ASRock is it only has one PCIe slot and 2 legacy, which I really don't care about since I probably won't be using any.

I didn't ask for another MoBo suggestion that would alone cost as much as my combo. Plus the new ASUS mobos are atrocious. I feel trolled lol

Defintely, ASUS is golden when it comes to that. Also the quality on those things is great. I like the 802.11AC feature it has, but I don't even have a router for that, and that motherboard costs much more than I am willing to shell out.

MSI seems to be trying to step it up, thought the Killer NIC lost me to be quite honest, and this thing doesn't even have a debug LED which bugs me (no pun intended). I like the looks of it, thought it could be a little tacky. I'm thinking the Rock too.

Anyone have any concerns with the quality of ASRock mobos?

Dont know if its still valid, but the rocks are known for thin flimsy boards, which if you want to mount a serious cooler and two+ Gpus can cause it to flex and short. I know it applies to the z77 line, haven't bothered to watch the z87 reveiws yet?

Yeah definitely, I saw their old stuff only had 1 year warranties, it's 3 year now. Which upcoming warranties are you talking about?

Haven't read anything about that, only complains I read was the UEFI freezing

I think it was mainly on the extreme 3+4 and lower etc... Ask IamAPropos on facebook about it.
He used to advise on here, still does on pcpartpicker, he had something like nine of ten new builds he had advised RMA the boards.

That is quite ridiculous. I'm planning on purchasing in the next 3 weeks. So I'll keep an eye out for the reviews. Worst case scenario, an RMA should work, though I would like to avoid the hassle.

Lacks a lot of the features that these two other MoBos have. Gigabyte always cheaps out on anything that isn't more that $220 from my experience

I'm looking at the ASUS Z87-PRO and it looks really well worth the extra $35. It doesn't have as many features as the ASRock, and it's a lot uglier, but it's an ASUS and the WiFi module alone is a nice feature.
