Hello, I'm almost done ordering my build. However, due to the position my telephone connected router, i'm forced to use a wireless connection.

I'm looking for a decent either PCI or USB adapter. Or any other methods that's better. I'm sitting a floor down from my router, and is about 20 feet away. My internet connection is around 30 mb with a cable, but only around 15 mb with my laptop's wifi right now.

Please suggest a good either PCI or USB adapter, i don't really care about that, i can easily install it onto a Asrock extreme 3 z87 board. I do a lot of online gaming, and are looking for a good connection with low lag.

Also keep in mind, i don't have that much of a budget left after building a really maxed up system.

That is the one I am using. It's pretty good and serves me well when I'm gaming online. Only thing I really play online is BF3 and I have good ping levels and download rates. Don't get blinded by the up to 150Mbps as this all depends on your internet service provider honestly

My router is 2 stores below me in a basement and there are many walls and floors between it but I can connect just fine. However when downloading multiple large files the combination of my bandwidth and the adapter has my connection slow down a lot.

If you Computer is out in the open I wouldn't recommend it as it is a little flimsy when attached to the back of a USB port. I've had better success with PCI network adapters and am probably going to get a new one soon
