Nope...homeowners or renters insurance claim.....look it your yard the mayhem guy may still be there.....

Warranty does not apply. It's not a manufacturer's defect. Don't file an insurance claim. You have a deductible and it count as a claim and affect you rate.

This is why you buy an expensive power strip. They usually have surge protectors to stop that and appliance coverage for when is doesn't/ My $80 belking covers $150,000 (I would read the t's and c's). Usually best to turn everything off during a lightning strike.
