Hello tom's hardware forum members, I recently found my old N64 hiding in a cabinet. I grabbed the N64 and brought it to my HDTV which is an Olevia LCD HDTV, then I plugged the AV wires into the composite inputs (yellow, red, and white) and placed in DK64. After finishing doing all of that, I went to the right TV source which were the plugs went (AV1 a.k.a Composite 1) and I turned on the N64, the red light showed in front of it (meaning it's turned on, obviously), but when I looked at the tv, it had a blue screen and the big fat words 'No Signal.' After seeing that, I turned off the console and I double checked everything to see if it was plugged in the right place and gave it a good push, as well as the cartridge. Then when I turned on the console again, it did the same thing the first time. So then I turned off the console and pulled the cartridge out, blew into it, placed it back in and turned on the console to witness the same thing again. Then I tried it again with a different game named "Cruis'n World" and still says No Signal. So I tried a different method like replace N64 av cables with Gamecube av cables and the same thing happened. I really want to play on the N64 but this problem keeps bugging me and I DO need help. If anything works I'll select as the best answer. Thank you for your time. If you need, I'll include a photo or photos for a better understanding of this problem I have.

If there was no audio then there might be something very wrong. Could be something wrong with your cables. I've heard if you really want to attempt N64 on modern TV you should look for the Expansion Pack to get at least 640X480 and also the single N64 to S-Video/Audio adapter.
