I'm having trouble deciding which card i wanna get... Actually the only thing that got me off-course from buying a ASUS card is that i heard that they have issues with VRM cooling(no heatsink attached to it). So that got me thinking... Is there any difference between these two except that the ASUS card has a 3 year warranty instead of Sapphire's 2 year warranty? Is the ASUS cooling issue solvable without breaking the warranty or is it not that bad? Your opinions please :)

Solution
I didn't realize the myst was so close in price. Get the powercolor 7870 myst. It's the most powerful of the bunch. It's basically a crippled 7950. Keep in mind you can not crossfire it with a normal 7870.

so heres for everyone that doesn't understand the prices:
sapphire 7870 ghz edition 209euro (2year warranty)
powercolor 7870 myst(tahiti le) very slim difference with the sapphire with about 212euro (2 year warranty)
asus 7870 v2 this one is about 235euro.(3 year warranty)

i am kinda aiming for the powercolor card since its a light tahiti core and perform significantly better than the rest of pitcairn cards
and i figure that the asus card is more expensive that these two because you basically pay for the extra year of warranty?

Don't...

alright, im not planning to do crossfire so im choosing the powercolor or i might wait for the sapphire xts to arrive to the stores since it is better at cooling but absolutely same specs as powercolor... I saw some reviews and the tahiti le performed 6-10% better than the pitairn cards. Just a last question, will a seasonic ss-500et 500w psu be enough for this card?

(admins sorry for bumps)
