I plugged in the manufacturer numbers listed on the Asus compatibility chart for P8Z77 V-Pro at TigerDirect.ca and all of them came up no result. How can I find out what solid state drive in the 250-300G range would definitely be OK with the board?

Here are Asus's #s for the SSDs:

SATA SSD
Intel
Intel SSD-X25-M-80GB

Kingston
Kingston SNVP325-S2

MemoRight
MemoRight MR25.2-064S

Transcend
Transcend TS32GSSD25S-M

SATA 6G SSD
Corsair

Crucial
Crucial CT064M7SSD2

Crucial CTFDDAC128MAG-1G1

OCZ

Compatibility depends simply on the SATA port connectivity. If a board has SATA III, it'd compatible with SATA III SSDs .... if a board had SATA II ports, it's compatible with SATA II SSD's

As I say, none of those are listed at TigerDirect.ca.

Can't imagine why anyone would look to a retailer to provide search engine based compatibility info ..... Use a search engine to search on a MoBo model and ya still get 100s of hits on other models. The purpose is to sell you something, not necessarily the thing you want.

Very, very huge polygon scenes with detailed textures in Maya.
