Pretty impressive.

With a budget like that though, why haven't you gone with Intel?

I chose AMD mainly because I actually only have a budget of around $3000, which includes buying monitors, speakers, etc. Also, it has a higher clock speed and more cores.

Despite the higher clock speed and more cores, it can be easily defeated by an Intel i5, let alone an i7.

Clock speed and cores aren't the only factors that dictate the power of a CPU - it's a common misconception.

Additionally, the FX 8350 uses a shed load of energy, which causes it to run hot and is expensive to run in terms of energy bills. An Intel i5 uses much less energy, whilst out-performing the 8350, and runs at a lower temperature - it's a no-brainer for me :p

Additionally, an i5 3570k is only slightly more expensive than an FX 8350 - I'd definitely recommend it instead.

Don't forget, AMD is more compatible than Intel for its own type of GPU, and Radeon HD 7990 performs slightly better than the Geforce GTX 690 and it is cheaper.

What? :??:  Yes, the 7990 is slightly better than GTX 690 and cheaper, but what does that have to do with AMD vs Intel? :??:
