That depends on the resolution at which you intend to game and how many games you want to install on the SSD. If you want to install all your games (and have a lot) on the SSD and only game at 1920x1080 or 1920x1200 with a 60Hz monitor then I would drop one of the 670s and upgrade to the 256 GB version of that SSD.

Other than that your build looks great!

I was told that I should go with 2560 x 1440 monitors, whats your opinion on that?

this was a monitor I was suggested at 1920 x 1080: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Asus-VG248QE-inch-LED-Monitor/dp/B00B19T7QC

I would suggest going for dual 770s, and getting a 2560x1440 monitor, as they offer more performance at around the same price point. You could also go for a 120/144hz monitor @ 1080p, if you care more about smoothness than pixel count.

I was trying to cut prices on the graphics cards but I want to run smoothly at a decent FPS with max settings on all games with a 1440p monitor...

There aren't many affordable cards that can consistently max out games at 1440p.

The switch to the 770s is a good change. I still would consider upgrading to a 256GB SSD though. Depending on how much you intend to install, I could see you running out of space on the system drive (SSD) pretty quickly.

If you can afford it then I would go with this modified build. If you need to cut prices a bit to do that then I would still recommend dropping to one graphics card. One 770 should drive most games pretty close to maxed out, even at a 2560x1440 resolution. Then you also still have the option to add another 770 at a later date.

Get low profile RAM (without the fins) There will probably be clearance issues with that cooler. You can adjust the cooler fan, but I'd rather just get RAM that works with the cooler without moving anything.
