i have a Seagate 1 TB internal HDD as well as a intel 180GB SSD. My SSD is working perfectly, but my HDD is not showing up in my hard drive list. I checked the drivers and its up to date as well its actually seen uinder my device manager. This is a custom build if that matters. please help!

If the drive is NEW and has never been used, you just need to initialize and format it in Disk Management(diskmgmt.msc).

If this was a drive that had data, you may need to see if you can do some data recovery.

Please let us know if this is a new(un-used) drive or not.

Pardon ignorance, but im still learning some of the more intricacies of computers lol. Would you mind to give me a basic walkthrough of how to do that. I can access the disk management but im unsure of what to do from there. i really appreciate the cooperation!

Ok, when you enter Disk Management(diskmgmt.msc) you should see ALL drives in your system. This will include hard dives/card readers/optical drives/flash drives/ect

You should be looking for one that has a capacity of about 935.51 GB. It should be a dark grey(black) colored bar and say unallocated.

Right click that space and select New Simple Volume.
This is an image from another tutorial, it just shows the menu(your drive will be ALL unallocated).

Windows should guide you through the rest to get it formatted and all that good stuff. You can use the Quick Format option as well because it will be MUCH faster.
