So to sum up a long story, I'd appreciate if someone knows an easy to learn language which is great for making games. Please don't suggest pygame tho, because I can never seem to install it correctly (tried 3 times, followed vids, but my laptop is being a little jerk as things stand)
Also, if it isn't too much, please link me w/ some resources for learning the language (in a begining to languages format). So don't link me to the microsoft website for visual C# (Can't find any resources for that D:)

What kind of games are you looking to make. That is the key question.

Flash, Unreal, Quake, GTA, WoW, etc....all have different engines.
Or are you looking for something completely new? In which case I'd suggest C or Assembler.

Games have been written in every language that exists.

I personally prefer games which take place from a first person view. I'm not sure what it'll look like yet, although I'm thinking that my unrealistic end product will look like a WoW mixed with CoD, perhaps with some minecraft in it. Although that is just my end dream. I'm gonna have to start small, so that's why I'm looking for a somewhat easy, yet capable language

A 'game' is so much more than what language it was written with.
Artistry, storyline, player immersion...

Even a seemingly simple game like Angry Birds took a team of experienced mobile platform developers almost a year to make.

'Best language' and 'easiest language' are opposite sides of the scale.

Start small. Build something with an existing game engine. The hard work is already done.
Make something good. Move on from there.

Well, tbh I've actually realised that, and do have basic models for games (from 2d pixels, to low poly models on C4D and Blender ready to be exported). It's too bad tho that I'm gonna have to start w/ a game engine, but alright. What would you suggest for small 2D work?
